We took two tours last week in London with Yael Yadlin of the ARTernative group and enjoyed it very much. Both the tour of street art in Shorditz and the galleries' tour in Mayfair were well organized, very informative, just the right length of time and a lot of fun. An "inside look" into the technique and the thoughts of the artist made the tour a very special and interesting experience. Thanks to Yael we saw things we would never have noticed by ourselves. We took the Street Art (Grafitty) tour in Berlin last week, and it was truly amazing. Our guide, Noa, was with grace, attentive, interesting and very knowledgable. Due to her stories we discovered an underground world of well known artists, politics, social forces and dynamics. It was utterly different to view the street art knowing the backround story for each piece - and much more interesting! highly recommended!

The tour goes around Shoreditch by foot for 2.5 hours and scans the various street art that is there-and there is a lot! And it keepschanging from day to day. We had a great guide who knew a lot about the artists and their background, techniques and politics. The teenagers had a great time! We had a 4 hours walk in the streets of Paris with Shiri our lively and lovely guide. together with my 2 daughters 16 & 19 who was fascinated to discover the hidden street art , very much recommended to do it at the beginning of your stay, since it change the whole experience when you walk later in along the streets (to read the full review enter TripAdvisor)

My mother and I joined two completely different tours by ARTernative - street art at Shoreditch, and V&A museum.The street art tour with Yael was fun and intuitive, and you could feel her passion for each and every piece of art... The V&A museum tour with Bar was much more serious, yet still passed by too fast. I could continue listening his explanations for hours. I wish I had more time in London to check the rest of the tours ARTernative suggest, and I will definitely take another tour next time I'll visit London or Paris!! (to read the full review enter TripAdvisor)
